miat-group.deFour companies. One address. Three days.
MIAT Group from Bad Ems brings together four business areas: industrial technology, solar and electrical engineering, prefabricated and modular houses, and insurance and financial planning. Two of them already had websites of their own – MIAT Technology and MIAT Solartech, both built by us. What was missing was an address for the group itself and a home for the two new areas, Haus & Projekt (houses and building projects) and Vorsorge (insurance and provision).
The material arrived on Friday: more than 300 pages of house and component catalogues, an FAQ for sales partners, the questionnaire for first consultations, copy for the house and insurance areas, and the logos as raster images. On Saturday the first version went live. By Monday six more deploys had followed with the client's requests – from the typeface pair chosen together to an extra question in the configurator and the show house in Mülheim-Kärlich.
The result is one entry point for all four areas. Technology and Solartech lead to their own websites; Haus & Projekt and Vorsorge live directly on miat-group.de – with a house collection, references, a show house, a configurator for ad campaigns and an insurance section organised by area of life.

The brand board as the home page
The group logo at the top, four brand cards with logo and claim below – just like on the group's brand board. Each card shows where it leads: miat-trading.de and miatsolar.de open in a new tab, Haus & Projekt and Vorsorge stay on the site. The logos only existed as raster images. We rebuilt all five as vectors, each in an upright and a horizontal version, for light and dark backgrounds.
From catalogue to house collection
More than 300 catalogue pages became 10 house models – from a bungalow to a three-storey apartment building made of 18 modules. A filter sorts them by number of storeys; each card shows four images and key data such as living space, storeys and façade, and six models also show the floor plan. Manufacturer names are left out on purpose: MIAT works independently of any single manufacturer, and the house comes first. The references name only town and region – no addresses of private clients.
A configurator for the ad campaign
Six questions with picture answers – use, storeys, bedrooms, priorities, fittings, plot – followed by the contact form. Every enquiry arrives with the answers and the ad source (UTM, gclid, fbclid): sales can see at once what the person is looking for and which ad the enquiry came from. For ads and print there are the short URLs /quiz and /konfigurator. On a smartphone the main action stays at the bottom edge, above Safari's toolbar. And the configurator is our own code on miat-group.de – not a quiz builder on a subscription.
Insurance by area of life
MIAT Vorsorge presents 26 types of cover in seven areas of life, from health & care to self-employment & business – with jump links to each area and an insurance check for existing policies. The client's copy addressed readers with the informal German "du"; we adapted it to the formal "Sie" the group uses. And the areas point to each other: anyone building a house with MIAT finds the right cover for the new home on the Vorsorge page.
